Making another Big Bang!

Making another Big Bang!

For the second year running Outspoken Projects have delivered a first class key sponsorship activation event for Gatwick Airport, namely, The Big Bang Southeast. The event was delivered on two very warm summer days at Ardingly showground to an excited audience of approx. 12500 students, from schools and colleges right across the SE region. The challenge for our team this year was to manage from the ground up across the project as we do, and deliver a bigger, better and more engaging experience for the students showcasing Gatwick Airport as a key regional STEM related business.

The final project delivery incorporated an increased number of Gatwick departmental zones, exhibiting their systems and working practices through practical, creative and hands-on activities for the students to get to grips with. Project management, branding, budget and logistics management all featured in our core services across the project. Our team managed regular steering group sessions with the Gatwick team on the lead-up to the event, ensuring all parties were aligned and ready for the big event show time in June.

The final delivery included an interactive video theatre, science demonstrations, engineering challenges, giant video screens and interactive technology activities.

Fantastic measurable public awareness and press coverage were achieved across the region for our client ROI; so much so, that we are already planning the 2019 'Bigger Bang' project to deliver Gatwick Airport's third year of corporate sponsorship activation.
