WESTJET: THE SPIRIT OF CANADA

WestJet have recently celebrated their new 787 Dreamliner making its first transatlantic crossing from Calgary to London Gatwick. With the help of Outspoken Projects, the arriving passengers were treated to a truly Great British welcome, and for departing passengers, a Canadian themed send-off. 

On the day, our event team worked across two locations to manage and provide a live band in the arrivals hall for Canadian visitors and a PA system in the gate room for those departing for Calgary.

The gate room aspect of the event consisted of key stakeholder speeches, cake cutting and Canadian themed music, which boosted the WestJet brand and created a emorable experience for their passengers before the new 787 Dreamliner made its inaugural departure from Gatwick. 

Outspoken Projects has assisted with the successful delivery of over 20 airline inaugural launch and marketing events at Gatwick Airport, with clients including Thomas Cook, Norwegian and Air China.
